CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certification

I was introduced to CrossFit in the fall of 2013. I found CrossFit to be a complete fitness program with an array of functional movements. Not only was I getting exercise, I was also learning and developing skills that I would not have achieved in other programs.

What started as a hobby quickly evolved into competing. After a year of participating in competitions, I took my love for the sport a step further and received my Level 1 Trainer certificate in the winter of 2014.

CrossFit is unique in that each movement can be scaled to an individual’s skill level and ability. This allows people from all walks of life to be able to participate. I enjoy coaching because I know the positive impact physically and mentally that CrossFit provides and that anyone is capable of setting and achieving goals in this sport. When a member perfects a new skill, or hits a new PR - there is no greater feeling.
